As a trained aerial acrobat in De La Guarda (Off-Broadway), Tonya Kay brings live performance to a new level by adding elements of fire spinning, flag dance, and stilt walking. Her cutting-edge choreography has been featured at Los Angeles's Sunset Room, New York City's Javits Center, and in theatre throughout Chicago.

In her performance career, Tonya Kay has danced professionally with the Peggy Spina Tap Company (NYC), Axis Danz (NYC), and Life Force Ensemble (Chicago). She has toured the United Kingdom and United States with names such as Kenny Rogers and the Rugrats!, and has been seen in national commercials as well as hosting the Los Angeles television pilot, re:volution.

Beyond the stage, Tonya Kay has a reputation for changing lives in the classroom, as well---having taught tap and hip-hop at renowned studios all over the world, including Dublin's College of Dance, Chicago's Hubbard St. Dance, Valparaiso University, and Hillsdale College.

Tonya Kay's life passion is to unite the younger generation through dance and music. In the modern tribe, she believes that self-expression is the key ritual to our community's health and evolution.
