As a touring artist and professional dancer, Tonya Kay is exploring raw veganism from a unique perspective; as a traveling female athlete.

Playing stadiums filled with an average of 13,000 screaming hormonal teen-age girls (and their older boyfriends), Atlanta, GA's Sentinel Newspaper quotes, "the stage came to life when a bride (Tonya Kay) and groom appeared on stilts acting out the lyrics." Panic's recent tour was described by Newsday as "Tim Burton directing Civil War ghosts in a high school production of "Moulin Rouge!"

WASTE VEGETABLE OIL FUEL
Free fuel, unheard of low-emissions, and foreign petroleum independence are just a few reasons Tonya Kay converted her 2001 VW TDI diesel Jetta to run on used deep fryer grease.

STILT WORLD
Elevating the artform galaxies beyond ordinary "stilt walking", Stilt World's professional dancers flawlessly execute aerial work, hand balancing, lifts and fire spinning - all three feet above the ground. The premiere stilt dancing company of the world, Stilt World raises the barre for runway, high fashion, opera and circus performances. Trey Knight (director) and his girating giants really give the grounded voyer something to look up to.

FIRE POI
In Hawaiian tradition, spinning poi was litterally a means of food preparation. The root of the taro (Colocasia Esculenta) plant was wrapped in leaves, attached to rope, then bashed against rocks until it reached the paste-like consistency of the popular finger-food; poi.

Today the tradition of poi has become a dangerously sensual fire dance - seen in grandure at Burning Man, the world's largest fire ritual and non-commercial intentional community. Fire spinning as a dance form recently reached millions when Tonya Kay spun fire poi on NBC's "America's Got Talent" semi-finals with Stilt World.

Featured as her superhero self in the Tonya Kay Fire Comic Centerfold, this fire spinning poster is a scifi collectable.

WASTE-FREE LIVING
This pedal-powered blender isn't the only electricity-free appliance in Tonya Kay's life; a hand-crank juicer, a solar-powered food dehydrator and a wind powered clothes dryer are just a few self-reliance techniques the Creature pioneers to create the world she wishes to live in - NOW.

HOW TO SPIN POI DVD
A meditaion, an exercise, a dance form... Originating in New Zealand where the Maori tribe warriors spun rocks tied to rope for training before battle, poi spinning will safely define your shoulders, forearms and upper back and develop the solid core strength you've been working towards.

Seen at beaches, bonfires, drum circles, warehouses and rooftops across the globe, poi spinning has recently reached creative highs by fusing dance, music and often fire into an entirely new western art form.

Beautifully filmed with a stimulating original soundtrack, let Tonya Kay, raw foodist, professional dancer and former castmember of STOMP introduce you to the magick of poi.
