Hollywood has glitter in the asphalt.
Not kidding.
Hollywood has cars so rare they don't use advertising. Even the homeless lady wears sequins.
Yellow traffic lights are optional. Red are time to start thinking about stopping. They snap pictures of you running stoplights and mail you the ticket. Hollywood has drivers with their windows rolled down all year.
6th Street is a surprisingly curvy street, but so is Sunset Blvd.. We are surrounded by accommodating hills. The gigantic grifith park. There is always something in bloom stinking up Hollywood.
In Hollywood, I have personally picked AND eaten: figs, carob, passion fruit, kumquat, date, banana, tangerine, orange, lemon, unidentified citrus, grape, pomegranate and avocado from the sidewalk, oh my gob.
Hollywood has the best drum and bass club I have ever been to. People don't smoke cigarettes inside, but they smoke herb openly on the patio. People know how to dance in Hollywood. They know how to dress up. They know how to look alive.
I like Hollywood. House plants grow all year round and the Sun sets in the west - over the ocean. I watch the Sun set almost every nite. There are a so many things I love about the United States' second largest city.

Make me a Goddess.
Come to me now and lay flowers at my feet. While I stand here fingering my dreaded brat locks.
Stargazer lilies with aquatic pink petals. Pollen snowing, falling, staining my bare, pedestrian toes.
Bring wine from the valley in ruby hues. Surround me with fruit ripe inside out. Barricade me with admiration so that I can take not one step outside of this worshipping world of your creation.
Make me a Goddess with perfect skin.
Project divine obscenities only I can fulfill. If everywhere I turn there is a reflecting pool in your eyes and the mirror image is a woman I don't recognize,
but wish so to be and one moment temporarily, for the fleeting reality of being exactly what you see,
I swear I will rise.
Taller than before these boots may have standed me, I will rise my full height. Into the sky, I will fly.
And your chin will drip with the juice of ripe fruit - the intoxicating flavor you dream dripping sweet.
Make me a Goddess and that is what I'll be.

How To Take A Bow:
When taking a bow, do not lower down, but raise up. Stand tall with a strong center being an open circut for living audience's energy exchange. Bows are not just on stage in theatre, bows are to the crew of the film shoot - they are an intimate audience's energy exchange. When bows are executed correctly, by raising up not folding down, by raising up we might choose to always bow in day to day life.
Bowing is not just on stage in theatre.
Oh, how I do miss the big audiences. So personal, so responsive, so ... alive. Feeding me. Giving me their energy to perform at peek. We artists can not sustain one single personality for our work. We must have many to bear the weight.
